University of èßäÊÓƵ Chief Financial Officer Myron Dosch will be leaving at the end of June, after 27 years of dedicated service, to accept a position outside the èßäÊÓƵ system.

Myron began his èßäÊÓƵ career in 1995 as the University of èßäÊÓƵ Foundation accounting manager; in 1999, he accepted the position of Financial Accounting Manager for the èßäÊÓƵ system with responsibility for preparation of audited financial statements; and in 2006 he became the controller for the èßäÊÓƵ system.

Myron has served as the UA system’s chief financial officer since 2016.

Myron earned a B.B.A. in Accounting from Gonzaga University in 1990, and in 2002 earned an M.B.A. with an emphasis in capital markets from the University of èßäÊÓƵ Fairbanks. He is a certified public accountant, and member of the èßäÊÓƵ Society of Certified Public Accountants.

During his tenure, Myron has provided steady, highly-respected leadership, managing highs and lows in investment earnings, year-over-year budget reductions, changing federal laws, modifications to our credit rating, new private-public partnerships, major investments in infrastructure and a constantly changing economic landscape, and through it all calmly managed change.

We would like to thank Myron for his nearly three decades of dedicated service to the èßäÊÓƵ and wish him the best of luck in his new endeavors.
